Dr Kherani completed undergraduate and medical school training at ophthalmology residency at the University of Alberta and completed his vitreoretinal fellowship at the University of Iowa in 2000.  On returning to Calgary, Dr. Kherani is the co-founder and Partner of Calgary Retina Consultants at the Southern Alberta Eye Center and an associate clinical processor at the University of Calgary. Dr. Kherani specializes in retinal medical and surgical disorders including macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathies, retinal detachments.  As an advocate for expert patient care, we are here to support the community and provide patient access to specialty ophthalmology advise and treatment plans.
